Ey Yolcu, ey Yolcu… O Traveler, O Traveler…, this is how many Sufi stories and books begin. Travel is an important characteristic of spiritual seekers. Sufis are often referred to as travelers. In ancient traditions, it was not uncommon for a master to send his disciples on journeys.
The Sufi Tour in Turkey was started by the late master
Dr. Rahmi Oruç Güvenç more than 30 years ago. Every December, people set out to visit the graves of eminent men and women who have left important messages for us on the spiritual path.
By turning to the living spirit of the former masters on this journey, their spiritual blessing powers, which flow like a stream through eternity, can become effective and connect with us. That which lies on “the other side” is actually very close to us all the time, but not present in our everyday consciousness.
On this journey we consciously take the time to open ourselves to these dimensions.
